The Political Primary Season and the 2012 Election

There is one economic truth of which many people seem unaware; all taxes are ultimately paid by individuals.  Any tax levied on businesses and corporations is considered a cost of doing business and is included in the price of products and services and paid by the individuals who purchase those products and services.  Businesses don’t pay taxes; they collect taxes from individuals (in the price of their products and services) and send the money to the government.

In government, business or small groups, whatever the venue, if you want to find where the power resides, “follow the money”.  It’s the cynical “golden rule”: whoever has the gold, rules. Nowhere is this more evident than in government.  The power to tax is the ultimate power of government; the power to control business, commerce and individuals.

Karl Marx and Frederich Engels in their Communist Manifesto posited as the second of their steps to converting a free market, capitalist system to a communist system the introduction of “a heavy, progressive income tax”.  In this instance “progressive” means that the more income the greater the rate of taxation.  It is this disparity in tax rates that allows socialist, redistributive government programs and encourages “class warfare” that is ultimately intended to force the society toward socialism/communism.

Both Republican and Democrat parties resist the idea of eliminating the graduated income tax system. Why the resistance to any effort to eliminate the Marxist income tax and replace it with another system that is not intended to lead to socialism/communism? There can be only one basic reason if you “follow the money”: you must like the present system and its goal of installing socialism/communism or at least like the way the money flows from that system giving government and favored individuals power and wealth.

There are three forces propelling the opposition to eliminating the Marxist system: 1. Dedicated Marxists (socialists/communists), true believers who want the USA to become a socialist country and 2. Those that are called “useful idiots” – those who unknowingly follow the teachings of Marx because being for the “common man” or the “poor” makes them feel superior when in fact Marxism is the greatest oppressor of all political systems ever devised (That’s why they’re called “idiots”) and 3. Politicians from both parties and their friends (contributors) whose businesses or wealth benefits from the system (these people are thieves – stealing from the national treasury).

Keep that in mind as you observe the politics leading up to this year’s Presidential primaries and the general election of the President and members of Congress.  Watch for those who claim to be for changing the system but propose leaving the income tax system in place and merely changing the rates or advocating a “flat tax”. Take note of those people who advocate taxing the “evil corporations”.  Corporations do not pay taxes – they just add the taxes to the cost of their products or services and pass that cost on to their customers.  All taxes are paid either directly or indirectly by individuals.  Any politician who claims otherwise is either ignorant or a liar. Everything else including oppressive regulations is based on the Marxist tax system.  Eliminate that and the oppressive regulations will go away once they cannot be used to game the system.

The present system cannot be uninstalled rapidly; it would likely take 3 – 7 years but it does offer a way to stop our slide into socialism.  Herman Cain, whose campaign has been suspended, showed one way to do that with his 9-9-9 plan – a transition to eliminating the income tax and installing a national retail sales tax to replace it – the “Fair Tax”, the most researched tax reform in history (http://www.fairtax.org).  So far no other candidate has proposed a method of eliminating the Marxist system perhaps noting that Cain was not only attacked and slandered by those who support the socialist agenda but by many in his own party who oppose changing the system.

Very little will change in the Federal government until the Marxist graduated income tax system is eliminated.

If we continue to elect leaders who are content to “tweak” the present system, then we shall have the government and the economy we deserve.  In both the short term and long term it’s up to the USA voters in 2012.

From the beginning of historical time described in the Bible to the present and into the future

The Hand of God  Excerpts:

What is the Bible?  It most certainly is neither a history of the universe or even of this planet nor is it a history of the human race.  If God inspired the writing of the Bible, He chose to tell us very little about the origin of our universe and our planet.  He told us the earth was in a state of devastation (“without form and void” – Genesis 1:2 KJV) before He changed this world into habitable form for life. He then created the sun, the moon, flora and fauna and last He created man.  In terms of origins, that’s essentially all the Bible tells us.

The first 10 chapters of the Bible deal with this enigma with a brief description and little explanation.  That a Creator exists, that He deals with mankind, that He created mankind for a purpose, that He gave us laws and that He influences or directs what happens to mankind are all matters of faith and not science.  The Bible makes no pretense in the latter direction. Most of the 11th chapter of Genesis traces the genealogy of Noah after the great flood to the time of a man called Abraham and the rest of the Bible is devoted to his descendants.  The only time other nations and people are mentioned or described in the Bible is a result of their contact with Abraham’s descendants.

Three major religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam – sprang from the events that transpired with Abraham.  The Bible is the prime source for the religions of Judaism and Christianity and the writings included in the canon were completed before the end of the 1st Century A.D.  Islam originated in the 7th Century A.D. Islam, which traces its origins to Abraham in its sacred writing the Quran, is very much in the news today and most of the current friction and armed conflict is a result of the actions of radical, militant adherents to that religion.   The conflict between the Islamic nations and the nation of Israel and the nations of Western Civilization can be traced to events that happened about 4,000 years ago.  The current Middle Eastern conflicts are a direct result of the Israelite claims to the land of Palestine and the Islamic denial of that claim.

It is important to understand how those conflicts impact our world today.  Along with other points, this paper examines their Biblical origins, how they impact the whole world, show up in the headlines of our newspapers and most likely hold the key to a great many events in our future. It is my belief that the “hand of God” is behind those forces and that we can only understand what will happen in our future by understanding how He has shaped the past.  To get to the present, we must turn to the past and examine how those forces have worked and find a correlation to the present.  Read more: The Hand of God

One Generation Excerpts:

The Road to Ruin

The Tea Party Movement can put us back on the right track in one generation

Communism has failed everywhere it has been tried.  In 1989 – just 20 years ago – the fall of the Soviet Union with unprecedented speed of a major world power should have made this clear.  The incorporation of markets and near free enterprise into the Chinese economy while still maintaining authoritarian rule in government further emphasizes this fact: Communism does not work.

Why is this important to the Tea Party movement?  If we are to take this country back, that process cannot be left incomplete.  There are political systems in place in this country that cannot be changed overnight without tremendous upheaval and suffering.  Nevertheless, and no matter how long it takes, those systems must be changed.

How did our country allow these systems that assure eventual failure to be incorporated into our free-market, capitalist system?  It’s the anecdotal analogy of the frog in the boiling water.  If you’re not familiar with it read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boiling_frog. It has taken over 100 years for these systems to be set in place but their placement has been deliberate by those who are the “true believers” in communism or socialism.  They will only be removed by a political movement willing to spend the time, money, effort and endurance to get the job done.

The good news is that it won’t take 100 years – it will only take one generation that recognizes the problems and is willing to stand up to the “progressive” movement that began with Marx and Engels and is continued today by those who call themselves “progressives”.

Further good news is found in the large number of women involved in the “Tea Party” movement.  This support for the statement that the change can be accomplished in one generation is quite involved but I’ve written a paper explaining how one generation of women – who realize their God-given role in shaping the next generation – can completely change a society and its culture.  Click here to read “The Truth about Men and Women”.   Read more: One Generation
